FEBRUARY 23rd,1938.., <br /> The Regular Administrative Session of the City Council was held <br /> February 23rd,1938 at 10 am,Mayor Edwards in the Chair,Commissionare Spencer and <br /> Williams present at roll cell. <br /> Minutes of February Slat,1938 read and approved. <br /> Moved by Spencer,seconded by Edwards to prepare resolution to <br /> mandate improvement of'Wetmore Ave.Dv installation of a street lighting system <br /> from Hewitt to Pacific Avenues. Carried unanimously. <br /> Moved by Spencer,seconded by William to install street light at <br /> 32nd end Hill Streets. Carried unanimously. <br /> Moved by Spencer,seconded by Edwards to adopt Resolutior.ire.:,.,_ <br /> an follows: '•RECOLUTIOU 1:O.4354. <br /> WHEREAS,it is deemed neoeseary by be City Commissioners to provide a <br /> 'ravel pit whereby suitable material may be obtained For maintaining <br /> of City Streets, <br /> 00,0,THEEEFORE,HE IT RESOLVED:That the gravel pitlocation described <br /> as follows: All that portion of the N 300.10 feet of the SW}of the <br /> SE}of Section 1 Twp EB R.R.4 E.W.M.lying'heat of the County rondo <br /> o <br /> containing four(4)acres,m or lessbe purchased fora a not t <br /> exceed Eight Hundred Dollars($500.00)and same be paid for entirely <br /> from City Street Fund,under provisions of Chapter 189,1937 Session laws." <br /> Carried unanimously. <br /> Moved by Spencer,seconded by Williams to allow bills of 51000 h <br /> Yowl for 854.25 and 839.05.
