Moved by Spencer,seconded by Williams to adopt Resolution No.4537 as follows: RESOLUTION N0.4537 VMEREAS,The Everett Avenue Trestle from Grand Ave.East,has become dangerous andunafe to traffic,it becomes necessary for the City n to provide s roadway,and WHEREAS,it 1s possible to use part of the old Milwaukee Railway grade,it is the intention of the City0000011 to provide a new road- way commencing at California Street y nd Harrison Avenue and proceed along the Southerly part of California Street to Grand Ave.extended, thence Easterly along the Milwaukee Railway grade on Railroad Avenue ' to the Canyon Mill road,an approximate aistan00 of 2,000 feet,by removing rails and ties and doing...eery grading end surfacing, NOW TRioEFORE BE IT RESOLVED,That Said Improvement be done by day labor and paid for from the City Street Fund under provisions of the State Aid Act,Chapter 187,Session Laws of 1937.
