The Regular Administrative Session of the City Council was held at 10AM September 200,1943,Mayor Williams in the Chair,Commissioners Unzelmen and Arevds present at roll call. Minutes of August 31St,1943 reed and approved. Moved by Arenas,seconded by Unzelmen to adopt Resolution No.4934 as follows: a RESOLUTION No.4934. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Everett that the Election Board of Snohomish County,Washington,be,and it Se hereby requested to call a special election for the 200 day of October,1943,for the City Of Everett,for the purpose of ub itting to the electors of said city et said time proposed amendment to Section 7 of the Charter of the City of Everett ee provided by Ordinance No.2987 of the City of Everett for the reason therein stated. " Carried. Moved by Uneelman,seconded by Arende,to grant Quit Claim Deed to Charles England for Lots 1 E 2,010.229,Div.^O". Carried. Moved by Arenas, seconded by Unzehion,to issue Council Order authorizing the City Treasurer to present belsnoe of$8,563.79 from the City Hall Bond Food IC the General Fund,and to credit future tax funds end other reoeipte directly to the General Fund. Carried. LINTER from Fred T.Evane,District Engineer,F.N.A.to Mayor Williams relative to proposed new fire stations wee read. A PETITION from residents of Maple Heights and vicinity requesting the help of the City Council in obtaining better bus service for that area was read. The City Clerk wee instructed to ask the manager of the Everett City Lines to ap- pear at council meeting September 3rd.
