Moved by Arends, seconded by 0nzelmen,that there being a vacancy in the office of Mayor by reason of the fact of 1.O.Williams being in active duty in the 0.S.Army,that L.Sc.Unzalman be elected Mayor to fill said va0enoy. Carried. Moved by Unzelman,seconded by Arends,fuer B.Aron.be elected vice- President of the City 0000011. Carried. Moved by Arends, seconded by UnfelmaO,to adopt Resolution No.4941 as follows: " RESOLUTION No.494'. WBMEEAS,Aortoh Avenue between 22nd Street and 25th Street,City of Everett,Washingtm is only 16 ft.wide and said street carried a large volume of traffic to Industrial Plants andcefl° Shipyard and it is the opinion of the City',Danond that it is hazzard, NOW,reaNEFORS,BE IT RESOLVED BY TBE CITY COUNCIL: That Norton Avenue between 22nd and 25th Streets be improved by tieonst uction of 116 lin.ft.of concrete.hulkhead with steps,also a 5 ft.strip of cement oo0orete pavement adjacent to the existing pavement and all work necessary to a immolate improvement,and that an —emergenoy exists and said improvement be paid for from the City Street Fund,that this work be done under Conservation Order L-41,and further Tule work has been started under approved Applipation 39-S.A., also Form P.D.-443 Serial No.44-10-571,and further As this work was initiated by 1001011 Minutes without accompanying resolution NOW THEREFORE,This Resolution is made to never the omission Estimated Goat of improvement $4,421.91 265.31 Englae eSig 6�i Total 4,6E/.22 " Married.
