OnomisSioneraJohnagn..a skmesp,,pUU: Minutes of the meeting held February la,1:63 read and approved. --- RESOLUTION Moved by Johnson,seconded by Simpson to adopt Resolution#6510 as followa, WHEREAS,Section 15 of Ordinance No.1211 provides that the City COuncil may Prohibit nt certain times,or entirely,the time during which vehicles may be parked in locations where traffic tends to congest,and WHEREAS,the City Council in compliance with said ordinance,doea desire to prohibit entirely,at certain times,the parking of vehicles on certain streets,or portions thereof,in the City of Everett, NOW,THEREFORE.BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERTT THAT vehicles be prohibited from parking on the ea.side of Grand Ave. from the It.,of Pacific to the north line of 32nd St.in accordance with Section 15(3)of Ordinance 3211 of the City of 321134111 date hereof until replaced or modified by subsequent resolutions and the Chief of Police ia lmreby authorised to erect appropriate signs 123211303113 with 331311113(1)of Ordinance 30. 1l. Upon roll call carried unanimously. --- RESOLUTION Moved by Johneon,seconded by Simpson to adopt Resolution#6511 as follows: WHEREAS Section 73 of Ordinance No.3211 provides chat the City Council may regulate en. limit for parking of motor vehicles on the City streets,end WHEREAS,the City Council in compliance with said Ordinance does desire to establish a time for parkirg of motor vehicles on certain streeta,or portions thereof,in the City of Everett, NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CM OF EVERETT THAT the followirg time limit be established in accordance with Section 71 of Ordinance 3211 0103311 date 113131021311 replaced or modified by sub- seqUent resolution: Two hour parking time limit on Grand Ave from the aouth line of Pacific Ave to the north line of 32nd St. -.- CONTRACT moved by Simpson,seconded by Johneon to authorise the Mayor to sign a S1CNCO grant to acquire open space land contract vith the Housing end Home Finance agency.
