He said this equipment had been in the Engineering Department but was no longer used and has been declared surplus. One bid was nd: received that of Electronic Business Services of Seattle in the mu. amount of$1.500. He Said a letter had been received from the Everett School District requesting waiver of formal bid and desiring to negotiate a prIvate sa1J. , . • Mr.McKenzie said the Council had two options, (1)to award the • bid to the Ione bidder or(2)to exercise the right tO reject all bids and envoke the procedure for the sale of the property by private sale to another municipal corporation or political sub-division as per City Charter. . .
