BIDS RECEIVED Herb Bushey,S Superintendent,reported a the bid opening held for traffic paint and sign blanks on February 14,1974. He said only one supplier submitted a bid for traffic paint,that of Preservative Paint Company. said they felt their bid w reasonable since all endaxials and labor had gone up in the manufacturing of paint products, recommended the award he made to Preservative Paints. Se reported the following bids were received for sign blanks: SUPPLIER To D INCLUDING SALES TAX Traffic Safety Supply of Portland 62,270.00 pacemaker Industries of Spokane 2,245.83 Bokln Sig).of Foley,Alabama 2,545.98 Snhlbe[g Safety c supply Ca.of Seattle 2,799.82 A1-Fab,Inc.of Everett 5,775.79 The recommendation was that the bid be awarded to the low bidder, Traffic Safety Supply Company. Moved by.Councilman Longue,seconded by Councilman finch te concur in the recommendation and award the bid for traffic paint to Preservative Paint Company of Seattle,and sign blanks to Traffic Safety Supply at their bid. Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes.
