<br /> nc.R RATES , Larry Hillis asked for clarification on the new Sewer Rate
<br /> Ordinance. He said he had several sewer connections he ,,: °I;
<br /> wanted to make but 4.s told that the sate would be under
<br /> the old ordinance. He said this was considerable increase i• 1 '
<br /> over what he would be paying under the new ordinance and I„: ,,
<br /> had ingujred into it and the I.R.S.had stated the freeze , t,4:
<br /> was just on increasing any rates not decreasing. He said
<br /> also as far as he could judge the new Sewer Ordinance
<br /> repealed the old ordinance so he felt there was no ordinance
<br /> in effect at all at this time.
<br /> Al Hendricks,City Attorney,recommonded that Mr.Hillis
<br /> pay the charge under protest. He said the new ordinance
<br /> is in effect,except the rate charged would have to be
<br /> under the old ordinance bccause of the freeze/The balance d
<br /> of the ordinance is in effect and working. J,i 1
<br /> LANDFILL LETTER Letter was received from Mayor Hrdicks of Lynnwood stating ,,
<br /> their appreciation to the City for continuing to accept '.,'t' ,,
<br /> solid waste at the landfill after July 1,1973.
