I: <br /> The Council then discussed prob/ems on 7th Avenue/94th briefly with residents <br /> of the area,Mr.Flanders,Torgeson,Blankenship,and Owens. The Engineering J <br /> Department can not recommend a solution to their problem,until the Drainage <br /> Study is completed and the City has an ordinance enabling it to take action <br /> on private prOpertY. 1 1'11 <br /> 11,11 1 1 <br /> PROPOSED RATE INCREASE <br /> Ed Rubatino,Rubatino Reftme Removal,/no.,informed Council that he has <br /> completed his purchase of Southend Disposal and is consolidating operations <br /> of the two companies. Because of wage Increases for his driver's he has <br /> applied to Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission for a rate <br /> increase. If granted,it will be a 208 increase for residents and 158 <br /> for commervial users of his service. <br /> On motion,the Council recessed for lunch at 12:50 p.m. <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council reconvened at 4 p.m.in the <br /> Council Chambers with President Aldcroft presiding and all Councilmen <br /> present,except Councilman Rucker and Gipson. <br /> Joe kozlovski informed the Council since the last meeting on C.B.D.he had . <br /> pkesented the plan,as accepted by the Council,to the Planning Commission, <br /> the Downtown Developmpnt Corporation,and the Citizens Advisory Committee. <br /> :1[ <br /> H3,1 <br /> 09;:l <br /> 'V.9!'! <br /> !:1,[11.1q11. <br /> • <br />
