Bads to be receivwd no <br /> later than 2:00 p.m.,August 15,1974. ; <br /> Roll was called with all Councilmen voting Ye.excePt Cou.711man SI-chelsse <br /> who voted no. <br /> Motion Carried <br /> BARER AMBULANCE CONTRACT <br /> President Aldcroft made the ruling that the motions made at the afternoon <br /> meeting were not in order and therefore were not acceptable:however,1. I <br /> would accept a motion to adopt the contract and then amendments could be made <br /> on the motion. <br /> 11T4T: T4T,q-tr.'.1=%IS47fInll:LX'AZTP:Bnon:r4i=a1=1:1::.'" <br /> Moved by Councilman Langus,seconded by Councilman Michelson to amend the <br /> motion by deleting paragraphs B and C of Section 1 of the contract,and pay <br /> Baker Ambulance only for calls that they are unable to collect. <br /> Mr.Eastman explained the circumstances that determine the type of response <br /> call to the ambulance company which is the determining factors and a dif- <br /> ference of the charges. <br /> • <br /> Roll was called on the amendment to the motion. All Councilmen voted no <br /> except Councilnmn Michelson and Langus who voted yes. <br /> Motion Lost <br /> Connell Presider.Aldcroft stated that he did not feel that the Adminis- <br /> tration had brought bark to Council the information..a changes as request- <br /> ed by the Council in the afternoon meeting in the areas that were of con- <br /> cern to the Council. <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson,seconded by Councilman Rucker to table this <br /> discussion and direct the Administration to re-write the contract with the <br /> language changes as requested by Counoil,and bring it back to Council <br /> later in the meeting. <br /> Council President Aldcroft felt they could make these changes without con- <br /> sulting with Mr.Agranoff,Baker's attorney,as they had discussed these <br /> areas of concern earlier in the afternoon with no apparent objections. <br /> Roll was called on the motion to table this discussion until later in the <br /> meeting. All councilmen voted yes except Councilman Michelson who voted <br /> Motion Carried <br /> At this time there was a five-minute recess. <br /> • <br />
