He said <br /> once the Mayor had acted on this item and refused to sign the contract,the <br /> Mayor Pro-Tem in the Mayor's absence could not take action On this item again. <br /> Councilman Rucker asked 84r.Hendricks if perhaps this was not a different <br /> situation than the Attorney Oenerbre oPinion referral aa Th. <br /> legislative body had directed the Pro-Tem officer to take action in this <br /> certain situation.
