Install six luminaires on wood poles(3 per block)with overhead wiring. <br /> Thie provides partial lighting system on the street with minimal capital <br /> cost to the City. The only cost would be maintenance and repair of any <br /> sidewalk damage as a result of pole installations. <br /> • <br />• • 2. Install six luminaires on ornamental poles per block)with overhead <br /> wiring. This provides a partial lighting system with a moderate capital <br /> cost eetimated to be$1800 plus PUG hook-up charges. 00100 0111 be provided <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • from existing storee. This <br /> • is the schedmle <br /> capital improvement and provides a complete system,but with a <br /> • cost of approximately$26.000. <br /> Councilman Michelson asked how much additional cost would be involved to <br /> extend-the lighting to Everett Avenue,and Mr.Henning Said it is about <br /> • $12,000 a block. <br /> Moved by Councilman Michelson,seconded by Councilman Ebert that the Engi- <br /> neering Department be authorized to prepare plans and specifications for a <br /> • bid call for an underground street lighting system on Rockefeller from <br /> Wall to Everett Avenue. <br />. • <br /> Moved by Councilman Ainch,seconded by Councilman Gipson to amend the mo- <br /> tion to include the funding as coming from F.A.M.Funds,1/2-cent 900 100 <br /> funds,and/or funds received from Snohomish County in connection with the <br /> vacation of Rockefeller. <br /> Roll was called on the amendment with all Councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion Carried <br /> Roll was called on the main motion as amended laid:all Councilmen voting <br /> yes except Councilman Rucker who voted no. <br /> Motion Carried <br /> • <br /> President Finch reported that the final committee aesignments and the re- <br /> port on Sno-Pac Central Dispatch:that:was on the agenda WOUld be held on <br /> another day. The Renton City Council letter would be brought before the <br /> Council this evening. <br /> On motion the meeting recessed at 12:50 p.m. <br /> • <br /> The Regular Meeting of the Everett City Council was reconvened at 7:00 p.m. <br /> • in the Council Cbambers of the Everett City Hall:President Rinch preening. <br /> Gpon roll call it was found that all Councilmen were in attendance. <br /> Minutes of the meeting held January 15,1875 were approved SS Printed. <br /> • <br /> 4- <br />
