• 49 .• February 19,1975 The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 a.m.with Council President Finch presiding and all Councilmen in attendance except Councilmen Aldcroft and Ebert. FOREST PARA SWIMMING POOL Doug Meyer,Parks 6 Recreation Director,briefly reviewed the Forest Park Swimming Pool rePort. Moved by Councilman Michelson,seconded by Councilman Langus,to award the bid for the construction of the Forest Park Swimming Pool to the low bidder in the amount of$966,901 subject to LAC approval. Councilmen Ebert came in. Roll was called with all councilmen:bating yes except Councilman Rucker who voted no and Councilman Aldcroft who,was excused. Motion carried Moved by Councilman Langus seconded by Councilman Michelson to direct the Budget 6 Finance Director to issue interim construction warrants and prepare a bond prospectus and ordinance to issue councilmatic bonds £60 07,,years to 00000 00000 in excess of$751,473,but not to exceed 5298.361. :gt'4::dc:tIldw2n:t1mCaTTTICI:'ftv:!'!al'e:x:N:S! °unc.'' Notion carried moved by Councilman Langus,seconded by Councilman Rucker to direct Administration to negotiate the necessary change order::to reduce the cost of the 990=1109 pool by approximately 550,000. . • Roll was marled with all Councilmen voting yeS except CoUncilman Alderoft who was excused. Motion carried SHORT SUBDIVISION ORDINAECE Frank Bennett,Community Development Director,staked that Washington State Law now provides that the city adopt procedures and regulations to administer the subdivision of lard into four or less parcels,and at the present time the City of Everett has no such ordinance. lent
