April 30,1975 <br /> Wayne Blakely,a resident on Lynnewood,said.e residents were mostly con- <br /> cerned about the adverse effects this logging operation would have on the <br /> surrouedieg are, They really weren't concerned wi.the logging or <br /> whether it was going.be single family residences constrected or ex- <br /> , 89515 9797 the plan was,but they were concerned that it would have maJor <br /> effects on the eurrounding area. <br /> leLloyd Henning repbrted to the Council that Mr.Crane has made application <br /> for a permit to open the balance of the Lynnewood Drive extension,but <br /> the application has been returned to him for further clarification as to <br /> the reason for the extension to be opened. <br /> Moved by Councilman Rucker,seconded by Councilman Michelson.recom- <br /> mend to the administration that they eetablish immediate contact with MYR <br /> to make the City's concerns known to them end that DNA be asked to take <br /> full reeponsibility on any adverae effects that might take place in the , . <br /> area such as erosion,water run-off,etc.,and that the adminietration <br /> take no further action on permits in this area,new or pending,entil <br /> the Council and the administration have a meeting to discuss the problem <br /> further. <br /> Roll wan called with all councilmen gating yes. <br /> Motion carried <br /> Councilman Lenges came in at this time. <br /> LAW AND JUSTICE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br /> A proposal was presented to the Council for an interlocal agreement with <br /> Snohomish County whereby all grants for law and justice planning would be <br /> presented to the commissioners for final approval or rejection. <br /> Moved by Coencilman Langus,seconded by Councilman Michelson not to sign <br /> .e interlocal agreement,that the staff look into.e matter further and <br /> come back to the Council with their recommendations. <br /> Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes. <br /> • <br /> Motion carried <br /> I <br /> On motion the meeting recessed to the Council Chambers. <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council reconvened at 10;00 a.m., <br /> in the Council Chambers,President Minch presiding.
