April 30,1975 Wayne Blakely,a resident on Lynnewood,said.e residents were mostly con- cerned about the adverse effects this logging operation would have on the surrouedieg are, They really weren't concerned wi.the logging or whether it was going.be single family residences constrected or ex- , 89515 9797 the plan was,but they were concerned that it would have maJor effects on the eurrounding area. leLloyd Henning repbrted to the Council that Mr.Crane has made application for a permit to open the balance of the Lynnewood Drive extension,but the application has been returned to him for further clarification as to the reason for the extension to be opened. Moved by Councilman Rucker,seconded by Councilman Michelson.recom- mend to the administration that they eetablish immediate contact with MYR to make the City's concerns known to them end that DNA be asked to take full reeponsibility on any adverae effects that might take place in the , . area such as erosion,water run-off,etc.,and that the adminietration take no further action on permits in this area,new or pending,entil the Council and the administration have a meeting to discuss the problem further. Roll wan called with all councilmen gating yes. Motion carried Councilman Lenges came in at this time. LAW AND JUSTICE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT A proposal was presented to the Council for an interlocal agreement with Snohomish County whereby all grants for law and justice planning would be presented to the commissioners for final approval or rejection. Moved by Coencilman Langus,seconded by Councilman Michelson not to sign .e interlocal agreement,that the staff look into.e matter further and come back to the Council with their recommendations. Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes. • Motion carried I On motion the meeting recessed to the Council Chambers. The regular meeting of the Everett City Council reconvened at 10;00 a.m., in the Council Chambers,President Minch presiding. Upon roll call it was found that all councilman were in attendanCe.
