Motion Carried h, Roll was called on the main motion as amended with all Councilmen voting yes. 4, Motion Carried Ih On motion the meeting recessed until 7:00 P.M. 14. 3-3 The Regular Meeting of the Everett City Council reconvened at 7:00 P.M.in the Council Chalabers of the Everett City Hall,President Pro Tem Ebert presiding. Upon Roll Call it-was found that all Councilmen were present except Councilman 1. Gipson who came in at 8:00 P.M.,and Councilman Minch who was excused. minutes of the meeting held December 10,1975 were aPProyed a.Print... .1 CONTRACT CANCELLED i1 Gordon Hey,Finance Director,reminded the Council a contract had been signed wiCh,Richard Andersen on September 12th for an economic forecast of the city. This contract was to be completed in 45 days. He said as of this date he bad received nothing and asked the Council if their desire 3ms to extend the con- tract or to cancel it. Moved by Councilman bid b,seconded by Councilman Lang..that no extension of time be given and that a letter be directed to Mr.Andersen that this con- tract is now declared to be null and void. Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes except Councilmen Gipson and Einch who were excused. Motion Carried PARAING TICKET PAYMENT DiSCUS5iOn was held on the agreement reached between the City and police of- ficers whereby they paid 121/20 Nil dollar fnr parking tickets received. The ,. Council all felt that it-was not fair to use a double standard and.allow the r,.; • Police officers to pay one amount and the citizens to pay a greater amount- They felt either the citizens should be refunded the difference between what they had.paid and.the 12314,or the police officers should pay the same as the other people bad paid. The administration was instructed to bring back the dollar impact on both of these solutions for the Council to look over. 1
