mmmm• <br /> 99 <br /> March 31,1976 <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENT <br /> VttILTI:M*2-1,,==;.1:LL:= <br /> annexation. <br /> The letter asked Council for a resolution of intent before the <br /> Boundary Review Board has its annexation hearing on April 13,1976. <br /> Mr.Thompson said that for several reasons he felt that there <br /> should be no discussion on the matter until Council's public hear- <br /> ing on April 16,1976. <br /> PSCOG REPORT <br /> Councilman Ebert gave a brief report of the Puget Sound Conference <br /> of Government's meeting held March 30,1976. She outlined a few <br /> of the issues discussed,such as cost of growth in the area,tax <br /> base generated by new families,and inter-governmental coordination. <br /> PARR POILCY <br /> Councilman Ebert said that after reviewing minutes of the Park <br /> Board meeting she would like to have a workehoP snnsion rega3,1.9 <br /> the Park's proposed policies regarding ballfields and playfields. <br /> Councilman Ebert a“o stated that upon reading the minutes,it <br /> seems the Park Board had taken the final action for naming the new <br /> City of Everett Swimming Pool and she felt Council members should, <br /> rather than the Park Board,have the authority to take the final <br /> steps on what to name the City facilities. <br /> Mayor Anderson assured Councilman Ebert that it was tbe City's in- <br /> tention tO ask for Council concurrence. <br /> P.T.A.MEETING <br /> Councilman Langus read a letter from Council President Gipson re- <br /> garding a meeting of the P.T.A.Council on April 6,1976 and asked <br /> the Council members to attend,if possible. <br /> PSCOG'S DUES (Council Hill 763-38) <br /> Moved by Councilman Ebert,seconded by Councilman Aldcroft to post- <br /> pone for two weeks the payment of dues to PSCOG until the negotiat- <br /> ing committed has met with the executive committee of the PECOS. <br /> Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes except Councilmen <br /> Rucker and GiP3071 who were excused. <br /> Motion Carried <br /> BIDS RECEIVED (Council Bill 762-57) • <br /> Herb Houshey explained that the following bids had been received for <br /> golf course maintenance equipment) <br />=.11r <br />
