A contraCt was negotiated with the firm a.was being presented to the Council for their consideration. Councilman Aldcroft asked if the regular procedure had been fol- lowed in selecting this firm and Mr.Xoelovski replivd that the prOeedure established by the Council had been followed and only °I- local firms had been interviewed. Councilman Moore said he had been on the selection committee and had been t4e one to rec., • mend shortening the procedure for interviewing the architects inasmuch as Bryant Butterfield and Frets had already completed a prelimin.ry plan for the remodeling of City Hall some years ago. This in fact would save the city approximately PR in costs. • Councilman Macke,questioned Article 6.5 and Article 5.1 of the proposed contract.
