324 <br /> BUDGET HEARING OCTOBER 26,1976 <br /> The regular budget meeting of the Everett City Council was called to <br /> order at 9;00 a.m.,October 26,1976,Budget Chairman Ebert,pre- <br /> siding. Upon roll call it was found that all councilmen were in at- <br /> tendance. <br /> Chairman Ebert reminded the Council they had received the revenue bud- <br /> get at the last meeting and had been instructed to review these revenues <br /> ind bring up any question they might have en anY line item at this meet- <br /> ing today. There were none brought up. <br /> councilman Ebert announced the rules governing this year's buaget hear- <br />' ing would be the same as established during the 1975 budget proceedings. <br /> If a budget was adopted only one voting on the majority side could move <br /> to reconsider that particular budget. <br /> FUND.001-LEGISLATIVE <br /> Program 7C1-Provide representation of the citizen <br /> :KnrnItIn=IT'inn=1=ttr,r,Ntrn.t° <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. <br /> Motion Carried <br /> FUND 001-LEGISLATIVE <br /> program H40-Legislative contingencE <br /> r'r Gordon Hey,Finance and Budget Director,presented the legislative con- <br /> , tingency fund in the amount of$15,000. He <br /> also said he felt the 550,000 56 688 placing in the legialative con- <br /> tingency could be taken from the administrative contingency fund amd <br /> transfer the$15,000 into that fund.
