<br /> Resolution No.1219 as follows:
<br /> A resolution to initiate proceeding's to establish a Parking and Busi-
<br /> ness Improvement Area in the City of Everett.
<br /> Whereas,the City Council of the City of Everett finds that there exists
<br /> a need for acquisition,construction or maintenance of parking facilities
<br /> in the-downtown area,deobration of public places in the downtown area,
<br /> promotion of public events in the downtown area,furnishing of music
<br /> in public places in the downtown area,and the general.PrOMntiOn of
<br /> retail trade activities in the dosmtown area,and
<br /> Max eas,Chapter”,Laws of 1971,First Extraordinary Session,provides
<br /> a means of providing financing for the aforesaid needs under a Parking
<br /> and Business improvement Area which the Council wishes to initiate,
