122 April 27,1977 Whereas,the City Council of the City of Everett considers It in the best public interests to make improvements in the community park,at Silver Lake generally located in the southern port!on of the City,east of inter- state RighwaY SiVe; Now,therefore,be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett: 1. That the Mayor be authorized to rnake formal application to the Inter- agency Committee for Outdoor Recreation for fund assistance! 2. That any fund assistance so received be used in making improvements in Thornton A.Sullivan Park at Silver Lake in the southern part of Everett, Washington, 3. That any property improved with financial aid through the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation be used as an outdoor recreation facility and be retained in such use in perPetnitY unless es otherwise Fsheiied and agreed to by the City Council,the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation,and any affected federal agency:and 4. That this resolution becomes part of a formal application to the Inter- agency Committee for Outdoor Recreation.
