122 <br /> April 27,1977 <br /> Whereas,the City Council of the City of Everett considers It in the best <br /> public interests to make improvements in the community park,at Silver <br /> Lake generally located in the southern port!on of the City,east of inter- <br /> state RighwaY SiVe; <br /> Now,therefore,be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett: <br /> 1. That the Mayor be authorized to rnake formal application to the Inter- <br /> agency Committee for Outdoor Recreation for fund assistance! <br /> 2. That any fund assistance so received be used in making improvements <br /> in Thornton A.Sullivan Park at Silver Lake in the southern part of Everett, <br /> Washington, <br /> 3. That any property improved with financial aid through the Interagency <br /> Committee for Outdoor Recreation be used as an outdoor recreation facility <br /> and be retained in such use in perPetnitY unless es otherwise Fsheiied <br /> and agreed to by the City Council,the Interagency Committee for Outdoor <br /> Recreation,and any affected federal agency:and <br /> 4.
