September 28,1977 Couneilknan Aldcroft spoke against the motion as he felt the staff and school had studied this a.presented a recommendation and the council should agree. councilman Suckett felt further study should be made first before es- tablishing a reduced fare. Moved by Councilman duckett,seconded by Councilman Aldcroft to amena the motion authorizing the issuance of a monthly pass at the rate of eight dollars per month for ECC students and faculty only. rEpeds.olnwnev:11:rdwhzzwt with all councilmen voting yes except Amendment Carried Roll was called on the main motion as amended with all councilmen vot- ing Yea except Councilmen Gipson Moore who voted no. Motion Carried moved by Councilman Gipson,seconded by Councilman Suckett that the administration study the ridership of the students and bring back a report to council prior to budget time. Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes. This was the bid of Abbey Carpet at a cost of$5,427.00. He re.mmended awa/ding to the company.
