BID AVM. Moved by Councilman Aldcroft,seconded by Councilman Gipson to concur in the recommendation and award the bid to the low bidder,Center Dozing,Inc. of Seattle at their bid of$23,201.08. Roll was called with all councilmen voting Yes; Motion Carried BID CALL(037710-358) Joe Konloveki reported only two bids had been redeived for the remodeling of the Roosevelt School. Both of these bido were considerably higher than the estimate by the architect. He requested they be allowed to • change the specifications and readvertise for bids to bring the work dovm to within the budgeted amount of moneYi Moved by Councilman moore,seconded by Councilman Gipson to reject al/ bids and authorize the administration to change the scope of work to delete signs and air conditioning,reduce the amount of new lighting and electrical services,hardware and partitions and to resubmit a bid call for Tuesday,November 8 at 2:00 pm.
