SOS <br /> December 14,1977 <br /> flt. <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 1 <br /> 1,*:-' (MOO a.m.in the Conference Room of Everett City Hall with President <br /> Michelson presiding and all councilmen in attendance except Council- 1 <br /> man Langus and Aldcroft who were excused. 7. <br /> SHORT PLAT PROCEDURE 4,POLICY <br /> Lloyd Denning,City Engineer,sPok0 on 110 Pr10e417e rob.short Flab.' <br /> The short plat code calls for conformance with the zoning code which <br /> h()) calls for 40 foot frontage on a public dedicated street. Problems <br /> would be referred to the Board of Adjusbnent. <br /> Dick Thompson,City Attorney,saordeid he felt that council should discuss 1 <br /> short plats and variances. In r for(1 person to have a limited . <br /> use of property he can apply for a variance. The short plat code is <br /> ''11 <br /> ,i intended for 4 lots or less. Variances ars granted on existing lots <br /> but aCCording to our present ordinance a variance cannot be granted <br /> on a new lot that does not comply wi.the short plat code. <br /> j11 <br /> '11 Lloyd Henning asked the council what they wanted to do about the four <br /> short plats that had already been granted variances by the Board of <br /> Adjustment.
