The regular meeting of the Everett City Council reconvened at 9:00 a.m. II December 29,1977,President Gipson presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Moore and all councilmen were in attendance except Councilmen Aldcroft,Langus and Pope who werh excused. COUNCIL BILL 7712-429 Final reading: An ordinance establishing the baaic salary schedule for employees of the City of Everett for 1978 and repealing Ordinance No.427-76 and declaring an emergencY tc 6/..h. / Karen Smith,Acting Personnel Director,explained 8008 of the changes in the salary ordinance. She said an 8.75 ealary increase had been agreed upon with Local 113 and this plus the salary increases for fire and police were incorporated in the ordinance. Moved by Councilman Michelson,seconded by Councilman Baker that the thime,reading of Council Bill 47712-429 ia hereby declared the final reading and the City Clerk is directed to call the roll for the final dispoeition of the ordinance.
