Mr.Henning replied at the <br /> • <br /> time Of a subdivision Eeing platted the Council has the right <br /> to make any conditions they see fit aS to the drainage Pro...m. <br /> Art Brandvold opposed the resolution because he felt none of the <br /> developers were aware of the drainage ordinance and Mr.Henning <br /> answered that Mr.Brandvold's son had been on the Contractor's <br /> Committee who had reviewed this drainage ordinance and were much <br /> aware of it. <br /> Roll was called on the adoption of Resolution 1470 with all Council- <br /> men voting yes except Councilman Michelson who voted no. <br /> • <br /> Motion Carried <br /> RESOLUTION(CB/85-204) <br /> 'atg ALOTt'ZIIMN7TIrss=nWsTec""'"C""i""L""s t. <br /> .• <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Everett has ordained under <br /> Ordinance No.514-78 that a new chapter of the Everett Municipal Code <br /> (E.M.0)titled"Surface and Storm Drainage be created,and <br /> WHEREAS,the Everett Municipal Code requires that all developers <br /> . • <br /> .. <br /> applying for certain specified permits shall submit a drainage plan <br /> for approval by the City Engineer,and <br /> WHEREAS,all proposals for improvements or changes which could affect <br /> the flow of storm water or surface water within the City of Everett „,• <br /> shall be in conformity with the formal policy enunciated in Resolu- <br /> tion 1908 approved on Oth February,1978. • <br /> WOW,WHEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> The City Drainage Plan as defined in Ordinance No.514-78 and the <br /> drainage plans submitted by developers apPlYing S.'certain per <br /> mits specified in Ordinance No.514-78 shall conform to the <br /> following guidelines: <br /> • For purposes of compliance with the requirements of the Ordinances <br /> of the City of Everett dealing with stormwater unff,the City is <br /> devided into four separate areas designated as Area A,Area B,Area C, <br /> and Area and delineated as follows: <br /> AREA A <br /> That portion of the City lying to the north and east of a line run- <br /> ning from Port Ga/Ener Bay to the western end of 35th Street then <br /> easterly on 35th Street to Tulalip Avenue then in a southerly direo- <br /> tion through Tulalip Avenue joining Federol Avenue south of 41st • <br /> Street then southerly on Federal Avenue crossing 9fith S.E,to the west <br /> of Fowler Avenue and continuing•south to 98th St.S.E„along 48th <br /> Street S.E.to a point east of Fowler Avenue and then in a general • <br /> southerly and southeastern direction skirting 56th Street and ores- <br /> sing Evergreen Way south of 57th Street S.E.then to the south end <br /> of Highway Place,skirting the north side of Reservoir No.3 to the <br /> north end of Spring St„then easterly to 62nd St.S.E.then north on <br /> Colby Avenue to 60th Street S.E.then in a northeastern direction <br /> crossing Lowell Road at Wetmore Avneue and again crossing Lowess Road <br /> north of Fairfax Avenue crossing 55th St/Eet SE.east of Rockefeller <br /> • <br />
