There would be no costs to the City of Everett transit <br /> system. <br /> • <br /> Councilman Baker said if the city did consider consolidating it would not <br /> . be as a financial savings but as a service to the citizens and Mr.Beardsall <br /> replied this was correct. They would have to use the basis of level of <br /> ' service provided as their reason for consolidating as there does not seem <br /> to be a cost savings argument. <br /> .• <br /> . Councilman Aldcroft suggested the council study the report in depth as pre- <br /> sented by the consultant and he felt they would come to the same conclusion <br /> he had arrived at,that in the future it could bring a savings to the tax- <br /> payers of the city. <br /> -• On motion the meeting then recessed. <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council reconvened at 10:00 am in <br /> the Hearing Room of the Courthouse,President Gipson presiding.
