219 <br /> June 14,1978 <br /> President Michelson asked if there was anyone else in the audience wishing <br /> to speak for or against the proposed LID and no one replied. <br /> =:40=:11:71.[Ed=v:e2TrtareITZVTIT6 <br /> this LID at the end cf the agenda. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman Baker who <br /> , was excused. <br /> Motion carried <br /> LID HEARING(21785-167) <br /> Hearing was held on the proposed LID for street improvements along a por- <br /> tion of the PUN right-of-way(11th Drive S.E.,and a portion Al Bruskrud <br /> Road. Lloyd Henning,City Engineer said this proposed improvement lies <br /> directly south of the Everett Mall. The total improvement consists of <br /> aPProximately 1400 feet along he right-of-way(11th Drive SE.)and ap- <br /> proximately 300 feet along Bruskrud Road by the construction of an at <br /> least 24 foot wide asphalt street,concrete curb,gutters and sidewalks, <br /> a.all incidental material and work necessary for complete improvement. <br /> The total assessed valuation of land improvements (1008 of land and 254 <br /> of improvements)according to the Snohomish County assessor's office is <br /> $856,492 and currently there are no assessable improvements on the property. <br /> He said the estimated cost of the improvement is$185,000 and Al within the <br /> • limits of the law. There are no outstanding assessments on the property. <br /> A resolution of intention to create a street LID was passed by Council on <br /> May 17th and to date there have been no protests from property owners with- <br /> in the LID. <br /> , Moved by Councilman Aldcrofk,seconded by Councilman Overstreet to close <br /> III pNlic hearing. <br /> President Michelson asked if there was anyone in the audience wishing to <br /> speak againet the LID and no one replied. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman Baker <br /> who was excused. ,• <br /> Motion Carried <br /> Moved by Councilman Aldcroft,seconded by Councilman Overstreet to concur <br /> in the administration's recommendation and have first reading of the ordi- <br /> nance establishing the LID at the end of the agenda. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman Baker <br /> 4 who was excused. <br /> Motion Carried <br /> EI <br /> PROPOSED LTD CONTINUED(CB785-1541 <br /> Moved by Councilman Aldcroft,seconded by Councilman Gipson to grant the <br /> F.g,T-YtZn711;:ro:11:71Ztorl4nTIP2;brirl.lellOttne-T6 grt=g! <br />: Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except Councilman Baker <br /> who was excused. <br /> Motion Carried <br />
