Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes,except Councilman — Michelson,who was excused. .• Motion Carried -- MAPLE HE/GHTS BRIDGE CONSULTANT CONTRACT-(00 795-207) — Hugh Warren,Public Works,reported that the firm Howard,Needles, Tammen Bergendoff (ROTS)had successfully completed the first two phases of this project and,because of their background,they possess • particular knowledge no other firm possesses. He said from a liability standpoint it was desirable to have the bridge designer involved with • the project during construction and recommended that Council approve the • recommendation to employ the consulting firm of Howard,Needles,Tammen Bergendoff to perform these services. Moved by Councilman Langus,seconded by Councilnmn Baker,to enter into negotiations with the firm Howard,Needles,Tammen Bergendoff as consultant for the Maple Heights Bridge Replacement construction phase.
