The lists are: 1)these WhO aPPlied,2)those Who are Wanted on the committee,and 3)those people wanted on the technical committee. He said these should be ready next week. STREET CLOSURE Councilman Pope reported that he had been contacted by Trinity Lutheran • Church at 24th and Lombard and they had requested the street between Lombard and Oakes on 24th be Closed on Sunday,August 12,IS'S for a barbeque. He said he had checked with the Police and Fire Departments • and there was no problem. • • Moved by Councilman Pope,seconded by Councilman Michelson,to grant • permission to TrInity Lutheran Church to close 24th St.between Lombard and Oakes on Sunday,August 12th for a barbeque. Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes. Motion Carried •• 1 ., FIRCREST SEWER DISTRICT tI• • 5rad Cattle,OitY Attorney,reported progress on the Fircrest Sewer District's annexation. He said we are hoping to use the request for further annexation to the Fircrest Sewer District as a vehicle to try to simplify the contracts we have with fircrest and put in some definite limitations on capacity in the system. He said there are 2 master con- tracts,and several amendments to the second master contract involving Fircrest. It is an extrenhly complex system of contractual management of our sewer service to that municipal corporation. Due to the corn- • plexity of the process,the City has not been able to send to Fircrest the staff's approach to the problem.
