Mr.Gregoire said at this time there is nothing being submitted on Areas B,C,D,E or F,only Area A. Councilman Michelson asked if Council should approve plans for Area A will this also be a commitment for other areas and Dennis Gregoire said it will only be adopting guidelines and directions for these other parcels. Councilman Aldcroft asked if the Council makes a decision consistent with the recommendations of the Planning Commission will it be addressing the entire 75 acres broken down into 5 parcels and dr.Gregoire said it would. • Councilman Pope felt this fact should be kept in•mind When Council makes a decision. Mr.Gregoire said the Planning Commission had spent a great deal of • - time on this project and the minutes of their meetings would be available upon request. He also pointed out the great deal of information presented which F substantiated the Planning Commission's recommendation and also said . . 1 staff comments were included in the information packet. . Brad Cattle said he felt these sources would be the basis upon which Council could make a decision and thus reduce time on this matter. President Baker then gave an opportunity for a brief presentation by the attorneys for the proponent and opponent. Douglas Bell,of Bell Ingram s Rice,attorneys for the pmbponent, F. introduced Rich Lennon,of Block Brothers,Project Manager Steven Hall, and Randy Blair from Wilsey Ham. Mr.Bell then presentee Council members with a copy of the final EIS,preliminary plat and site Plan and rebuttal of the recommendations of the Planning Commission. Councilman Aldcroft then referred to a letter received from James H. Allendoerfer,attorney for the oPponents,requesting that Council reject the recommendations of the Planning Commission and conduct its man public hearings on the project. Councilman Aldcroft pointed out that a hearing had been set for June 10th for Council to consider all testimony. F4 Councilman Overstreet arrived at this time. Councilman Pope asked if the impact of affected areas around the project had been addressed and whether information was available about this,and Brad Cattle said the E/S will be perused and will be noted for the public hearing. Coun ilman POpe then requested information regarding traffic counts on Ever;reen way from 4800 block of Rucker,in the 7500 block of Evergreen Way,the 5200 block of Evergreen Way,and also on Beverly Lane from Madison,Mukilteo Boulevard and on the other side of Dogwood,westbound.
