7 September 15,1982 ---.7 <br /> AED-011-RESOLUTION-.E.ENCY SIGN.REPAIR-(CB 829-4031 <br />, <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson,seconded by Councilman Stephenson,to <br /> adopt Resolution No.2163 as follows: <br /> 1 • A RESOLUTION author1-Ing sole source Purohdee aad <br /> work to proceed as r—aessary to replace the . <br /> laufficsignal at Pacifir/Rucker knocked down by a <br /> delivery truck on Saturday,9/11/82,and hereby <br /> declaring an emergency to exist. <br /> 1; WHEREAS,the Pacific and Rucker traffic signal is necessary for the <br /> safe and efficient control of Central Business DiStridt vehicle and <br /> pedestrian traffic;and <br />;) WHEREAS,the signal was rendered inoperative by a collision last <br /> Saturday;and <br /> WHEREAS,the fasteet possible way to reinstall the signal is to <br /> replace various components by sole source: <br /> NOW,TEEREFORE,HE IT RESOLVED by the City of Everett City Council <br /> 1 that the emergency repair is authorized including purchase of necessary <br /> parts and installaeon work. <br /> 11' Roll was called with all Councilm.voting yes,except Cohnoilman <br /> Aldcroft,who was absent from voting. <br /> 11 .
