87 II1'1V, March 11,1983 The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 17.0 a.m.,March 11,1983,in the Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall,President Pope presidng. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Moose a.all Councilmen were in attendance except Councilman Overstreet, 141 ERR was exCused. 11 1,1 Minutes of the meeting held March 2,1983,were approved as printed. PROCLAMATIONS AGREEMENT 9. Mayor Moore then ask.for Council approval of a financial consulting agreement wi.Harper-McLean E Co.relating to the financing of URIC 111. 111, Moved by Councilman Aldcroft,seconded by Councilman Gipson,to ; authorize the Mayor to sign a finanzi90.dOnsuIting agreement with Harper-McLean E Co.in connection with financing of ULIO Pl. Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes,except Councilman Overstreet,who was excused. Motion Carried g ; NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES CONFERENCE President Pope commented very briefly on the National League of Cities Conference he and the Mayor and Pat McClain had attended in Washington, D.C. He said it was very productive and he would be bringing some workAn - shops to the Council in connection with these meetings. f,f 117).k 1 CITIZEN'S COMMENTS John Fawcett,Manages of the Commercial Hotel in the 1800 block of Hewitt,complained of the noise from the Hangar Tavern directly below 'f'17 1 1 the hotel. He said the noise was caused by a.cabaret license recently issued to the tavern. The Mayor pointed out the tavern had had a cabaret license since 1968 and had obtained it legally. He felt if there was a problem he should speak to his own attorney about it. I,9 7191 BOLSER REZONE Ted Johnson,of 5611 Fleming,complained of the problem on Fleming in connection with.e Bolger Rezone and the Underhill Unfinished Furniture Store warehouse,which was causing a problem also. President PO,asked the Administration to speak with Mr.Johnson 31 regarding this. •
