Upon roll call it was found that Mayor <br /> Moose a.all Councilmen were in attendance except Councilman Overstreet, 141 <br /> ERR was exCused. <br /> 11 1,1 <br /> Minutes of the meeting held March 2,1983,were approved as printed. <br /> PROCLAMATIONS <br /> AGREEMENT 9. <br /> Mayor Moore then ask.for Council approval of a financial consulting <br /> agreement wi.Harper-McLean E Co.relating to the financing of URIC 111. 111, <br /> Moved by Councilman Aldcroft,seconded by Councilman Gipson,to ; <br /> authorize the Mayor to sign a finanzi90.dOnsuIting agreement with <br /> Harper-McLean E Co.in connection with financing of ULIO Pl. <br /> Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes,except Councilman <br /> Overstreet,who was excused. <br /> Motion Carried g ; <br /> NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES CONFERENCE <br /> President Pope commented very briefly on the National League of Cities <br /> Conference he and the Mayor and Pat McClain had attended in Washington, <br /> D.C. He said it was very productive and he would be bringing some workAn <br /> - <br /> shops to the Council in connection with these meetings. f,f <br /> 117).k 1 <br /> CITIZEN'S COMMENTS <br /> John Fawcett,Manages of the Commercial Hotel in the 1800 block of <br /> Hewitt,complained of the noise from the Hangar Tavern directly below 'f'17 1 1 <br /> the hotel. He said the noise was caused by a.cabaret license recently <br /> issued to the tavern. The Mayor pointed out the tavern had had a <br /> cabaret license since 1968 and had obtained it legally. He felt if <br /> there was a problem he should speak to his own attorney about it. I,9 <br /> 7191 <br /> BOLSER REZONE <br /> Ted Johnson,of 5611 Fleming,complained of the problem on Fleming <br /> in connection with.e Bolger Rezone and the Underhill Unfinished <br /> Furniture Store warehouse,which was causing a problem also. <br /> President PO,asked the Administration to speak with Mr.Johnson 31 <br /> regarding this. <br /> • <br />
