The Clerk then read a protest from Draymar,Ltd. <br /> 9' 1 Celza Strong said the assessments are the same as on the preliminary <br /> roll and there were no protests at that hearing. She said the size <br /> and scope are the same as those that would have been for econorux <br /> purposes. She recommended rejecting the protest by Daymar,AU:- <br /> Bruce Jones,City Attorney,commented the Budget Committee had <br /> discussed the Feenstra protest and under Title 84 of the RCM there is <br /> a provision for means for a retired person to have their assessment <br /> deferred on their property. Re eaid that the City could make their <br /> own proposal on this type of deferral. A section could be added to <br /> the ordinance that would allow any person who qualifles to participate <br /> in any deferral program that the City comes up with. The City would <br /> then prepare a program that would be included zn this assessment roll <br /> and any other ausessment roll in the future. <br />
