# 178 May 11,1983 The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 8:30 a.m.,May 11,1983,in the Council Chambers of the Everett City Hall,President Pope presiding. Upon roll call it was found that Mayor Moore and all Councilmen were in attendance. Minutes of the meeting of May 4,1983,were approved as printed with f, I a correction on page 176 to reflect that it was Councilman Stephanson who attended the meeting on minority subcontractor requirements. COUNCILMEN'S COMMENTS Councilman Overstreet commented on the status of HS 466,saying that it had passed the House and would now go to the Senate. At preaent it was looking favorable and he would hope it would serve to reduce the cost of property tax to Everett's citizens. !„ 1Mayor Moore said the debt limit had been raised to 98 which would allow the City to proceed with the Southwest Everett project. Councilman Aldcroft reminded everyone of the Annual Salvation Army luncheon meeting this Friday at noon at 2525 Rucker. PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS President Pope announced he had received a request to move Agenda item 2:WIZ #7,CBD transit transfer center improvements,ahead of#4 because of time Cann...by the consultant and would honor that request. ,F4111.
