223 June 13,1983 The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to EH at 8:30 a.m.,June 13,1983,in the Council Chambers of the Everett city Nall,president Pro TemAltephanson presiding. Upon roll call it was found that all Councilmen were in attendance except President Pope,who was excused and Councilman Aldcroft,who arrived later. Mayor Moore was also excused. Minutes of the meeting held June 8,1983,were approved as printed with a correction on page 213 to the motion regarding postponement of the resolution to demolish the structure at 2827 W.Marine View Drive. cOuNCIEMEN.S COMMENTS Councilman Overstreet reminded Council of the AWC meetings scheduled • fuesdaYe Wednesday and Thursday of this week. • He also said it was mentioned at the recent TAC meeting that state legislation was recently enacted that would allow cities to pick up some of the costs for detention of DWI's effective Suly 1st. He asked that the Pope fammly be in everyone's thoughts and prayers.
