If and when any money was <br /> to be spent on this type of prodect,there would be dlsounsaon in the <br /> Council before any decision was made. <br /> BROADWAY PLAZA REPORT <br /> 1 1, <br /> Joe Koziovski reported that in October of 1982,Allen White of the <br /> Housing Authority presented the bid proposals for the Broadway Plaza <br /> 111i. Senior Rousing Project and dIscussed the constructIon program. Al <br /> ZOO <br /> that time the Council suggested acquisition of the DeMarco propertY <br /> (c.cllcr cr Wc11- EroadwalO for peuing. He said the negotiations <br /> are done and.e E.H.A.needs to obtain council approval before it <br /> consummates the land purchase hath City bond funds. He said also <br /> a parcel at the corner of Wall and Lombard was available and between <br /> the two there mould be approximately 48 parking spaces. The DeMarca <br /> Parcel coat wan 6120,000,and the Preerks'parcel on Lombard:00 1111 <br /> '141 was$120,500. <br /> He said also the contract states that any time there is a substantave <br /> change in the construction or plans thls must be approved by the <br /> Councal. He said Allen White of the Housing Authority had a change , <br /> 114,1,1, order here today for approval for.e commercial space on the street I <br /> level of the facility on Broadway Avenue. <br /> 1POI Mx.WhIte Said at the present the street level area of the bull...9 <br /> as not finished and to make this available for commercial use it would <br /> f cost 062,000 and he was requesting approval of thin today. <br /> Councilman Michelson asked Mr.White if he h.the appraisal value <br /> of the 0.arco property a.Mr.Mate replied it was 6150,000,but <br /> 111'1 they had negotiated the prase of 0120,000. <br /> $111,I <br /> -41 <br />
