410 <br /> November.16,1983 <br /> ADD-ON-ATLI CONTRACT <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson,seconded by Councilman Stephenson,to <br /> 1(') authorize the Mayor to enter into a 1984-1988 collective bargaining <br /> agreement with lunalgamated Transit Union,Local 883. <br /> Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes,except Councilman <br /> Michelson,who was excused. <br />() <br /> Motion Carried <br /> The meeting then recessed into Executive Session to discuss a <br /> legal matter. <br /> I(( <br /> The regular meeting tben reconvened into Budget Deering with Budget <br /> Committee Chairman Stephenson presiding and all Councilmen in <br /> attendance except Councilmen Michelson,and Overstreet,-who were <br /> excused. Mayor Moore was also in attendance. <br /> I I 1984 BUDGET HEARING <br /> EFFECT OF RATE CHANGES IN DISCRETIONARY TAXES <br /> Byron Viger,City Treasurer,reviewed the estimated property tax,sales <br /> ' ( tax,B 6 0 tax,Occupation(utility)tax,gambling tax,Cablevision <br /> franchise,admission tax and real estate excise tax as proposed in the <br /> (:( )(it)) 1984 budget.
