471 <br /> December 28,1983 <br /> 1 <br /> 90N,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ef the City of Everett: <br /> That the mayor is authorized to execute and file an application <br /> on behalf of the City of Everett with the U.S.Department of <br /> Transportation,to aid in the financing of capital projects <br /> pursuand to Section 9A of the Urban Mass Transportation Act of <br /> 1969,as amended. <br /> P <br /> 2. That the Mayor or his deeignee is authorized to execute and file 1 <br /> such applications as assurance or any other document by the U.S. <br /> Department of Transportation effectuating the purposes of Title VI <br /> of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. <br /> 3. That the Mayor or his designee is authorized to furnish such add- <br /> itional information as the U.S.Departumnt of Transportation may <br /> require in connection with the application or the project. <br /> 9. That the Mayor is authorized to set forth and execute affirmative <br /> minority business policies in connection with the project's pro- <br /> curement needs. <br /> 5.
