COLBY AVENUE REVISIONS .t.._= Terry Carroll,of the Public Works Department,reviewed the proposed , changes to the 2700,2B00 and 2900 black of Colby. He reported that 515,600 had been',Pent in 13E3 fr.'the Council Contingency Fund. They also reviewed a request from the CablevisIon Ad Hoc Committee relative to the franchise and a RE will be discuesed at next week's Council He said the committee will.taking a close look at.......arY taxes and information will be forthcoming wn the next 2 months ,'!'4., ,..,, or so. '818,I PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS President Stephenson announced .'that the National League of Cities will meet in Washington,D.C.on March 3-6. He then asked that NO Executive Seesion be held at the conclusion of today's agenda to discuss a labor negotiations matter. President Stephenson reported he had met with the Mayor earlier this week regarding the Havy issue and had asked that the Planning Depart- 'sent develop a chart on public hearings,etc. This and the poesibility lie IE. of e.public advisory vote will be discussed at the meeting next week. 41.13. His reply was he did not feel this was an issue for the city to address as this was school district property.
