Upon roll call it was <br /> !' I found that Mayor Moore and all Councilmen were in attendance. <br />. I ' Minutes of the meeting held February 22,1904,were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> POLICE OFFICER APPO/NTMENT <br /> Mayor Moore then introduced Thomas J.Maurer as a new Police Officer <br /> I with the City of Everett. Mr.Meurer was then given the oath of office . <br /> by the City Clerk. <br /> MAMMON BRIDGE REPAIR <br /> Theal,Public Works Director,reported the concrete deck on the <br /> Alverson Bridge had developed a hole forcing the closure of the bridge <br /> ! to westbound traffic. He aaid emergency authorization is requested <br /> to employ a bridge consulting engineering firm to examine the bridge <br /> and determine the load limit and type of repair°needed. He said the <br /> City was in the process of interviewing engineers for the Lombard <br /> bridge and had limited to three for final decision.
