Purchase Enterprises of Flukilteo put in a <br /> bI d for 819,200.00 and the firm later indicated they had made an <br /> error and asked that they be allowed to withdraw their bid. After <br /> , investigating the contractor's material, it was determined the <br /> contractor had left out the electrical subcontractor's hid. <br />. . , Therefore, staff recommends that the bidder be allowed to withdraw <br /> his bid end that,because of the.delay, it be made a part of the <br /> Ii e Service Center Remodel as a change order. <br /> Moved by Councilman Overstreet, seconded by Councilman Michelson, <br /> e that the bid of Purchase Enterprises on the Traffic Computer Room be <br /> rejected due to an error in the contractor's submission and that <br /> this be made a part of the Service Center Remodel as a change order. <br /> Roll was called with all Councilmen voting yes, except Councilmen <br /> , Lang.and Gipeon,who were excused. <br /> I I <br /> Motion Carried <br /> INDEMNIFICATION AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT <br /> Bruce Janes said the Park Department was going to have a booth at <br />' the Boat Show this Coning weekend at neg.,. Landing and the <br />. sponsor, General Hospital Health Care FoUndation, was requesting <br /> that the City provide an indemnification and held harmless agreement <br />. prior to placing the booth. <br /> He felt this did not fall under the jurisdiction of the <br /> . Administration and that the Council mould have to authorise the <br /> e. 1 mayor to sign it if they so aPproved. <br /> moved by Councilman Michelson, seconded bY nresident Sterhan.o., to <br /> authorise the Mayor to sign an indemnification and hold harmless <br /> kI agreement for the General Hospital Health Care Foundation Boat Show. <br /> k 1 <br />[1.1Ieet 1.,,0 <br />
