1, <br /> 63 <br /> June 20,1984 <br /> 1/ <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City'of Everett has <br /> held numerous workshops and public bearings since April of 1982, on <br /> the Single Family Residential PoliCy portion of the Everett General <br /> Plan;and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the public <br /> testimony and other relevant information, and has adopted Single <br /> Family Residential policies which specifically address develOPment <br /> within Everett's designated single family areas;and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council has considered testimony presented <br /> at a public hearing and has reviewed the Single Family Residential <br /> Policies which are recommended for adoption,and <br /> WHEREAS, in 1982, the City Council adopted the Southwest <br /> Everett Comprehensive Plan as a guide for deVelopment of that <br /> Portion of the CitY of Everett; ts <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,B8 IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. The City Of Everett hereby amends the Everett General Plan <br /> (Comprehensive Plan) by the adOptiong of the Single FaMilY <br /> Residential Policies,which policies are attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by reference; (as 66f312 in the City <br /> Clerk's Office)and <br /> 2. These Single Family Residential Policies shall replace all <br /> policies which specifiCally address develop... ‘elePle <br /> Everett's designated single family areas, eXCept that the <br /> policies shall be used together with the Southwest Everett <br /> Comprehensive Plan for the SoUthwest Everett area as defined <br /> • <br /> in said Plan. If,in[he Southwest Everett area as defined <br /> in said Plan,a conflict errata between the Southwest Everett <br /> Comprehensive Plan and the Single Family Residential <br /> Policies, the Southwest Everett Comprehensive Plan shall be <br /> the controlling document to resolve the confliet10. <br /> 3.
