The two prop.ty owners involved in this <br /> property issue are the Wrights,Ruth and Bob and Frank Stipek, the <br /> developer of Silverwood. <br /> • <br /> Gary Wight, Wight 6 Hardt, Inc, land use consultants 2722 Colby <br />.• Avenue,who represents the Stip.PrePert,review..e4 Preeeee.8 <br /> how this misunderstanding arose and•stated that his client does not <br /> want to see the City acquire this ProPertY. ,t-ie their olvieien <br /> that there are adequate access routes available without using leth <br />• <br /> Avenue SE as•an ingress and egress route by waY of Beth Street <br /> access. He stated that he had never stated that the Wrights agreed <br />,• to earlier plans which did not use the 99th Street access. <br /> Darrell T.Bastran,330 First Interstate Building,3405 188th St SW, <br /> Lynnwood,who is the attorney representing the Wrights, stated that <br /> there is some question as to opinion that this property it surplus <br /> property and not County right-of-way. <br /> Bruce Jones,City Attorney,stated that if it is an easement as Mr. <br /> Bastran stated, then the City would already own it due to <br /> annexation. It is•up to the City Council to decide whether or not <br /> they want to acquire this property through the first <br /> right-of-refusal which is offered by Snohomish County. If the <br /> • property is to be acrinired,the CitY will PaY the CountY 84,000 fer <br /> the property. If the property is not be acquired by the City, <br /> then the County will put the property up for public auction. <br /> 4,, Bob Wright,prope-ty owner,stated that the 99th Street access has <br />.II and is-being used for access their property.
