I Moved by councilman Ovecstreet, seconded by Councilman Wchelson that this is declared to be the final reading of Council Eill , #8511-122 and the City Clerk is directed to call the roll for the final disposition of the ordinance as amended with all provisions 14 presented by Attorney Iles at the morning meeting. I 1'4.4-, President Stephenson thanked everyone present and said this has been i a very difficult decision for the council as they were In the same position as all the citizens, with families, children and grandchildren. He said if theSe establishments do open in the city, the citizens had the right and obligation for peapeful picketing and he thought that wan important and the council needed their support on this. ,, c :4 4:4* He commended and thanked Jim Iles for the great job in bringing these ordinances to the council. LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES Councilman Overstreet said there had been much testimony as to ddd r.-'..i action needed to be taken by the State Legislature In regards to pornography and adult use entertainment. Last week the council had adopted a list of priorities to be presented to the legislature and he said he would like to amend that list.
