The Herald is directed
more to national and international news and the Tribune carries
mostly local news.
The Mayor stated the City spent approximately $51,000 for legal
notices and $10,000 for agenda notices in 1985. The official
designation would apply to the publishing of official legal notices
and not to The publishing of agenda notices.
Councilman Pope stated he felt that there was not enough information
in the council packet to make a decision. He would like to see
actual cost figures and also nome circulation statistics.
Councilman Morrow asked if the RCW allowed for more than one
official newspaper.
r1=apTrI'Lld"itn'hi's"orplenYiOn=dm:Zs "'ici"
•
