76 <br /> February 19,1986 <br /> BID OPENING REPORT <br /> A need was identified to construct cathodic protection systems at <br /> three locations along the water transmission lines at the Snohomish <br /> River and Shey slough. The bids for the materials needed for these <br /> 1 systems were received on January 9,1986. Three bids were received, <br /> however, two bids were nonresponsive due to the fact they did not <br /> meet all City specifications. The bids are as follows: <br /> MATCOR Inc. 30,40, <br /> Bare°Corp. 23,195(does not meet specs) <br /> Norton Corrosion 24,546(does not meet specs) <br /> BID AWARD <br /> Moved by Councilman LangUs,seconded by Councilman Pope to award the <br /> bid for cathodic protection supplies to the lowest and most <br /> responsive bidder MATCOR,Inc.for the sum of$38,407 plus sales tax. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting Yee. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> . BID OPENING REPORT <br /> Two bids were received for a new trailer to haul the mud eat sludge <br /> barge as follows( <br /> Transport Equipment Co. 15,586.16 <br /> sahlberg Equipment Co. 19,691.75 <br /> BID AWARD <br /> moved by Councilman Overstreet, seconded by Councilman LangUs tO <br /> award the bid for the Filter Plant Dredge Trailer to the lowest and <br /> l'I0 <br /> 0 <br /> ,58fin000 <br /> i0 <br /> iclUding sales tax. <br /> 'deter Transport Equipment Co. for the sum of <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting Ye.. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> _ _ <br />
