Consistency: <br /> By adopting regulations that require a minimum of a <br />, 1,000-foor separation between billboards, the City is being <br />. consistent with other jurisdictions in the area including <br /> Soohomioh CenntY, City of Marysville, and the CitY of Nen, <br />; Numerous other jurisdictions in the area prohibit off-premise <br /> advertising or billboards, including: Bellevue, Edmonds, <br /> I Lynnwood,Mountlake Terrace,Mill Creek and mukilteo. <br />; Councilman Overstreet stated for the record that he does receive <br /> some income from a sign company. <br /> Gretchen Shaffer,Planning Commission Chair,reviewed the procedures <br />, and the recommendations. she encouraged Council to adopt the <br /> proposed ordinance at the time it is considered.
