Upon roll call it was found that <br /> F, 1 all councilmen were in attendance. Mayor Moore wan excused. <br /> . The budget committee had met this evening and <br />, ' voted unanimously for an expenditure of $1500 from the Council <br />. I ' Contingency Fund to be given to this organization for food and <br /> shelter. He then asked DM.Saltzman to briefly review the proposal. <br /> '1 Roved by Councilman Stephanson, seconded by Councilman Niva to <br /> authorise an expenditures of 81500 from the Council Contingency Fund <br /> , , for the purpose of supporting Sands Across Snohomish County and that <br />'4 p' the contribution be used for food and shelter for the needy. <br /> Roll was called with all councilman voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> , . <br /> 7dk,""lic Councilman Stephanson then said the bUdget committee hadn't come to <br /> a conclusion on Agenda Item 13, the Laurel Drive slide area, and <br /> asked that Ehe councilmembers review the information on this and it <br /> C''' l''11''' will be brought back tv the council at a later date. <br />[ Councilman Morrow reviewed his trim to Vallejo,California where he <br /> had attended a council meeting and met with the staff regarding <br /> their method of electronic voting in the meeting. <br /> Councilman Pope talked oE the advantages of Enhanced 911 he had <br /> learned of in a Public Safety Seminar he had attended. <br />, ,f--='' Councilmember Hive eaid the CIP conmittee had met again and <br /> dirmussed the possibility of a citizen survey to involve more <br /> citizens.
