SPOn roii call it <br /> was found that Mayor Moore end all councilmen were in attendance. <br /> The meeting then recessed into Executive Session on a legal matter. <br /> I , <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council reconvened in the <br /> Council Chambers of the City Sall at 8:30 a.m., President Gipson <br /> presi?ing with Mayor Moore and all councilmen present except <br /> Counc lmen Siva and Overstreet who were excused. <br />, . <br /> LI.Ntnugiltrt=e'lgbst:Inr:rL!'VetTg.waaa anara'ad as'rirMaa <br />, COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilman Morrow presented a plaque to the city from the Puget <br /> . Sound Council of Government. Be also commented that the Weyerbauser <br /> Building,now being used as the Chamber of Commerce Office is on the <br /> 4 , 'I, historical register. <br /> He then asked for a,mrkshop to bring the council Up to date On the <br /> Navy. CoUncilman Stephenson disagreed saying the council had mode <br /> 1,'I<II':,,: their position very clear many times and haVing a workshop would be <br /> just repeating what has already been said. <br /> Mayor Moore said everything was moving but the state program will <br />'', '..,I I ii'.' not be out until later this eummer and at that time there will be <br /> i4,4, more information available. <br /> ')*v ' PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS <br /> t11.40 , President Gipson reminded the council that the Canadian Sailing Boat <br /> would arrive at 5:00 p.m.on Tuesday, July 1. O5.14,1, sometimes get approval and this issue was brought to the budget <br /> I'' jOr committe, The committee approved, brought it to the council and <br /> the full council approved the request. They had looked at <br /> . . this issue and were concerned that perhaps it should go CO bid,but <br /> when they came to council it was their decision to accept the <br />''' '' dollars to the Tourism committee and to hire Mr. Kioch to do the <br /> project.
