He <br /> would be requesting that item be placed on the agenda in the near <br /> future. <br /> Councilnen Stephenson also expressed concern with the recent <br /> publicity regarding mark Hduser's letter writing campaign to the <br /> gulf states regarding the homeporting issue in Everett. Councilman I ' <br /> Stephenson does not question his right to share his views but <br /> questions who he may be claiming to represent. <br /> Councilman Diva reported on the CIP committee meetings. A citizen <br /> survey will he in the Tribune today and one in the Herald on Sunday, <br /> September 14. The Chair of the committee will be at next week's <br /> council meeting to give the Council a progress report on the Capital <br /> Inprovement I <br /> At 9:02 a.m. the Council recessed into executive session on a <br /> personnel matter. <br /> The meeting reconvened at 9:25 a.m. with all councilmen in <br /> attendance expect Councilman Langus who was excused. Mayor Moore 4; <br /> was also excused. <br /> Vice President Morrow announced that Item#1,Sheehan Rezone#2-86, <br /> (Council Bill No. 869-Ill is moved to Item 21 1/2 under Proposed 1 <br /> Ordinances. <br /> PUBLIC BEARING <br /> Vice President Morrow opened the public hearing on Ray Fletcher <br /> Rezone#4-06. Don Wood, Planning Staff, stated this request is to <br /> rezone approximately one acre of Suburban Residential (RAJ to ;I <br /> General Commercial with Contract. The property is located North of <br /> Orowheat at 125 SW Everett Mall Way. The Southpoint COmprehensive <br /> Plan shows this area as commercial. This rezone as proposed is <br /> • consistent with the City's Compreheneive Plans.
